These are all self-paced classes. As soon as you purchase it, you will have full access to every lesson.
How long do I have access to this class?
You have LIFETIME ACCESS so you can come back to your classes whenever you want and as frequently as you'd like. There is even a download option where you can download the videos and PDFs and keep them forever.
What level is this program for?
This course is suitable for beginners to more experienced artists.
Do I need all the supplies listed?
No, you can work with what you have. I encourage you to watch the videos first and then decide if something I’m using that you don’t yet have is something you think you might like to try.
Do I need high-speed internet for the course?
Yes, you will need a good internet connection to view the video lessons.
Will there be an online community for this course?
Yes, I will provide details of how to submit a request to join the Kimma Smith Art Class Community. This is a private, student-only, Facebook group. You are also welcome to post comments and images of your paintings right in the classroom.
There is also a hashtag #kimmasmithartclasses that you are welcome to use on Instagram and other social media platforms.
What is the refund policy?
Due to the nature of online classes, once you are enrolled in the course I am unable to offer a refund. You are welcome to contact me if you have any questions about the course before signing up.
Hi, I’m Kimma
I’m a self-taught artist and am head-over-heels in love with painting. My soul delights in creating mixed media floral and abstract paintings and loose, flowy watercolor paintings.
My other heart’s delight is teaching. I’ve loved teaching ever since I homeschooled my kids nearly 30 years ago. Now they are grown and married and I get the joy of continuing my teaching journey by sharing my painting process with others. Over this past year, I’ve taught several hundred students how to paint with watercolor. It is truly an honor.
I'm inspired by nature, color, and watercolor itself. Watercolor is enchanting. Truly magical things happen by simply dropping watercolor into other wet colors or just dropping color into a clear wet spot on your paper and letting it do its thing. Adding splashes of water and sprinkles of salt do spellbinding things, causing blooms of magic to appear before your eyes.
As I’m sure you can tell, watercolor has captured my heart and soul. It never fails to engage my mind and delight my inner child.
